The Cutlery Hospital has a tradition of manufacturing cutlery going right back to 1750, so you can imagine they have learned a thing or two about cutlery. Time-honoured skills have been passed down to the current team of master-craftsmen, who have over 200 years of experience between them.
Thanks to personal recommendations of many satisfied customers, Cutlery Hospital are now one of Europe’s largest cutlery replating & restoration services. Naturally we were delighted to help take this business online with a brand new website, dedicated to the restoration services, meet the incredible team, customer reviews and examples of work completed.
Mining and refining of the metals used in the manufacture of new cutlery is extremely ‘energy intensive’, therefore recycling better quality cutlery is a much more ‘eco-friendly’ or ‘green’ option. Add to that the sentimental value of restoring items that belonged to previous generations of family members which have ‘a story to tell’ – it’s a no brainer to repair, replate and refurbish!
